Located in the residential neighbourhood of Kodachi, close to Lake Kawaguchiko, Guesthouse Honobono is a family-run guesthouse operated by a couple who have travelled around the world themselves.

Accommodation includes private Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring and futon bedding, as well as a shared dormitory. Some rooms offer mountain views, and Mount Fuji can be seen from the property on clear days. Showers and bathroom facilities are shared.

The spacious lounge and communal kitchen provide a comfortable place to relax, prepare a meal or meet other travellers. A shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station can also be arranged upon advance request.
