The Yabusame Festival at Omuro Sengen Shrine is an annual shrine festival in Fujiyoshida. It includes yabusame, in which a mounted archer rides and shoots at targets, but it is not presented as a generic historical show. It is part of the shrine's local religious observance.

A distinctive feature of this festival is baitei uranai, a divination custom in which hoofprints left after the horse has run are read for signs about the coming year. The official Fujiyoshida source also notes that arrows which fall during the event may be treated as lucky items.

The event takes place at Omuro Sengen Shrine in the Shimoyoshida area. Please follow on-site guidance, especially around the route used for the horses.
